需求分析视域下利用报刊优化高职英语阅读教学

摘要 《高等职业教育英语课程标准》中明确指出,要更好地满足不同层次学生的需求,同时通过培养学生分析问题和解决问题的能力,促使课程达到最佳教学效果。克拉申的输入假说强调,最有效的语言输入材料必须是具有可理解性、趣味性和相关性的。本文基于需求分析理论提出将英文报刊运用到高职英语阅读教学中,以扩大学生可理解性输入量,并探索出一种能有效提高高职学生英语阅读兴趣和阅读能力的教学方式。 “English Curriculum Standards for Higher Voca-tional Education” explicitly stipulates that the different-level students’ needs should be better met, and students’ abili-ties of problem-analyzing and problem-solving should be cultivated so that the optimum result can be achieved in the curriculum. Krashen’s input hypothesis emphasizes that the most effcient language input materials have to be suffcient and comprehensible, interesting and relevant. On the basis of learning needs theory, this research puts forward to using English newspapers in higher vocational English reading teaching, to expand the volume of comprehensible inputs for the students, and to explore an effective teaching method which helps higher vocational college students develop greater interests and skills in English reading.
