The modern civilization has collapsed and human beings return to the primitive state. This paper attempts to analyze the primitive tendencies of this novel by combining unity, simplicity and mystique in primitive thinking. This return to the primitive im-plies the possibility of human beings to redeem and rebuild civilization.
