With the continuous impact of online courses to traditional courses as the background, how should the course of Basic Japanese adjust itself in the transform of teaching modes？ It is well worth studying.Based on constructivism, the students in Japanese major require the subjectivity, expansibility, sociality and practice, so it claims that students are the subject of knowledge processing and the active constructor of knowledge while teachers will only play the role of organizer and facilitator. Thus, the paper puts forward that the course of Basic Japanese can begin with a new exploration of a teaching mode which consists of an online course mode with students as the focus and an online teaching platform with teachers as the focus.
