Selecting the best edition Compendium of Materia Medica , the Jinling edition from Japan Library of Congress, as the base edition, featuring the comparison of pictures and texts, making an elaborate study of various complex situations such as the use of the original text, citations and so on, and designing proper solutions, the collation of Compendium of Materia Medica produced by professor Zhang Zhibin and professor Zheng Jinsheng is the best version of the Compendium of Materia Medica at present.
