In 2013, General Secretary XI Jin-ping scientifically interpreted Yimeng Spirit in terms of its formation, attributes and values from the perspectives of Party building, leadership and practice. His interpretations are in line with the historical facts of the formation and development of Yimeng Spirit and touch upon the essence of it connotation, characteristics and values, thus providing a new perspective and stance for the study and cognition of Yimeng Spirit. The interpretations are significant to Yimeng Spirit both in deepening and broadening its studies and in comprehensive understanding of its connotation, characteristics and values.
