沂蒙精神的形成是一个长期的不断积累、沉淀和逐步凝练、升华的过程。沂蒙精神主要形成于烽火连天的革命战争时期,尤其与支前运动有着密不可分的内在关联性。支前运动是沂蒙地区革命实践活动的一个高潮,也是沂蒙精神形成的重要实践基础;沂蒙精神在支前运动的磨砺和锻造中走向成熟,经历了一个不断纠正错误、解决矛盾和进行思想锻造的艰苦过程;支前运动也是一次阶级意识和革命思想的普及和深化运动,沂蒙精神是支前运动中沂蒙人民精神凝练和思想升华的必然结果。

The formation of Yimeng Spirit is a long-term process of accumulation, precipitation, gradual condensation and sublimation. Formed mainly in the period of the fiery revolutionary war, Yimeng Spirit has an indispensible internal relevance with the local people＇ s support to the frontline during war. The supportive movement was a climax of the revolutionary practice in Yimeng area, and was also an important practical basis for the formation of Yimeng Spirit, which was forged to be mature in the movement. Yimeng Spirit has gone through an arduous process of constantly correcting mistakes, resolving contradictions and forging ideas, while the supportive movement to the frontline is also a process during which the class consciousness and revolutionary thought were both popularized and deepened. In a word, Yimeng Spirit is an outcome of the spiritual and ideological sublimation of Yimeng people in the supportive movement to the frontline.
