一串红种子活力鉴定及对观赏性状的影响

Salvia splendens seed vigor evaluation and analysis of its influence on the ornamental traits

为探究一串红种子活力适宜的预测方法及对观赏性状的影响,以‘奥运圣火’种子为材料,通过人工老化处理结合标准发芽试验,得到不同活力(低活力、中活力、高活力)的一串红种子,利用冷浸发芽试验测定种子活力相关指标,并与穴盘发芽试验活力指标进行相关性分析。结果表明:冷浸试验及穴盘播种试验中不同活力的一串红种子发芽率、发芽指数、苗长、活力指数均存在显著差异;标准发芽试验和冷浸发芽试验中发芽势、发芽率、发芽指数、根长、活力指数与穴盘播种种子活力指数显著或极显著相关。标准发芽试验用时较短,操作较简单,推荐用来预测穴盘播种中一串红种子的活力。不同活力的一串红种子,其植株主要观赏性状没有显著差异。

In order to explore ways to predict the vigor of Salvia splendens seed and its influence on the ornamental traits, this study experimented with seeds of the ＇ Olympic Flame＇ species, obtaining seeds of different vigors （low vigor, medium vigor, and high vigor）by artificial aging treatment and the standard germination test. Using cold germination test to measure indexes of seed vigor, the study made analysis by comparing them with vigor indexes in the plug tray germination test. The results showed that germination rate, germination index seedling length and vigor index differ significantly between seeds in cold test and those in plug tray seeding test; and the germination potential, germination rate, root length, vigor index of seeds in standard germination test and cold test were significantly or highly significantly correlated with the vigor index of seeds in the plug tray seedling test. The standard gemflnation test,which takes less time and is easier to operate,is recommended to predict the vigor of Salvia splendens seeds in the tray seedling. For Salvia splendens seeds of different vigors, no significant differences in the main ornamental traits were discovered.
