Objective To observe the efects of acupuncture, massage and cervical traction on pain, sensory relief, high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) and interleukin-8 (IL-8) in patients with cervical spondylotic radiculopathy. Methods 70 patients with cervical spondylotic radicular disease treated in our hospital from January 2016 to June 2017 were selected as the research subjects. According to the random number table method, they were divided into a combined group and a control group, 35 cases in each group. The control group was treated with cervical traction. The combined group was treated with acupuncture and massage. The therapeutic efects of the two groups were compared. Results The total efective rate of the combined group was higher than that of the control group. The JOA score of the combined group was higher than that of the control group after treatment, and the diference was statistically signifcant (P 〈 0.05). After 6 months of follow-up, the incidence of adverse reactions and recurrence rate in the combined group were lower than those in the control group, and the diference was statistically signifcant (P 〈 0.05). Conclusion Acupuncture and massage combined with cervical traction can relieve the pain relief of the patients with cervical spondylosis of nerve root type, and reduce the level of substance hs-CRP, IL-8, and reduce the adverse reaction in the treatment process and reduce the recurrence rate.
