The Former Chahar Tribe was Genghis Khan＇s personal security guards ＂Kheshig＂. It was originally composed of a small number of guards and soldiers around Genghis Khan. When Genghis Khan went West, ＂Kheshig＂ had expanded to 10,000 people and became the ＂central Tumen （an army unit of 10,000 soldiers）＂ around Genghis Khan. With the Kheshig Army, Genghis Khan started his West expedition, swept across the Central Asian countries and the dutchy of ancient Russia, incorporated the territory of ancient Russia into the rule of the Mongol Empire, and finally opened up the land transportation lines between Europe and Asia. It has had an important impact on the promotion of economic and cultural exchanges between the East and the West.
