Vocational education and local economic development mutually restrict and promote each other. How to make higher vocational education better serve the regional economic development, and how to establish vocational education system suitable for local economic structure, are of great theoretical and practical significance to vocational education and local economic development. This paper mainly discusses the basic path and safeguard measures of vocational education to serve local economy, achieves interactive, effective and sustainable development between vocational education and local economy, and makes professional education better serve the local economic development.
