摘要
本文以需求分析为视角,论述大学英语个性拓展课程是目前大学英语教学改革的新思路。该课程有其国家语言政策依据,其实用性既是社会经济发展需求,也是英语学习者的个人职业发展需求,在一定意义上推动地方本科高校向应用技术类型高校转型。
From the perspective of needs analysis, this paper discusses college English extended course which is a new trend in college English teaching reform. Offering this course has its basis in the country＇s EFL policies. This course is going to meet the needs of both the whole society＇s economic developments and learners＇ own career developments. College English extended cour-ses are, to some degree, helpful for the provincial universities＇ transformation towards applied technology universities.
