This paper introduces the working principle and com position of generating units, a branch of coalbedmethane power generation company of Yangmei Coal Group, and analyzes briefly the phenomena of common faults,causes and elimination methods of units in combination with practical working experience. The troubleshooting ofcoal-bed methane generator unit not only ensures the utilization of coal bed methane energy but also reduces thepollution of coal bed methane emission to the atmosphere, which is of great significance.
