传统文化外译中译者的定位——以《我在故宫修文物》的翻译为例

摘要 中华传统文化经过五千余载的发展,时至今日,在传播科技发展日新月异的新媒体时代,优秀传统文化越来越需要与变化了的媒介手段和环境相一致,更需要对其内容和形式作出进一步的发展和革新。同时,随着我国在全球影响力的加强,翻译的重要性也越来越突出,译者主体性也逐渐得到体现和发展。于译者而言,更要突破不同语言的障碍,主动承担沟通和交流的使命。2016年1月,央视纪录频道播出以故宫文物修复为主题的纪录片《我在故宫修文物》;同年12月,《我在故宫修文物》的同名电影上映,与纪录片不同的是,电影版采用中英文双语字幕,这与国家的"推动中华文化走出去"的战略不谋而合。 Chinese traditional culture has been developing for more than 5,000 years. Nowadays excellent traditional culture is more and more in line with the changed media means and environment in the new era of rapid development. Meanwhile the importance of translation is becoming more and more prominent and the translator's subjectivity has gradually been taken seriously with the strengthening of China's global influence. For translators,it is even more important to break through the barriers of different languages and take the initiative to undertake the mission of communication. In January 2016 CCTV Records Channel broadcast a documentary on the theme of restoration of the Imperial Palace relics,"Masters in Forbidden City". In December,the film of the same title was released. Unlike the documentary,the film version uses bilingual subtitles in both Chinese and English. This coincides with the country's strategy of"promoting Chinese culture to go out of the world".
