中国古代音乐美学思想最重要的文献之一就是司马迁所写的《史记》。西汉时期是礼乐发展蓬勃的时期。太史公在《史记》中把音乐与政治,社会与自然紧密的联系在一起。表达了自己的音乐情感。并说明了自然界中万物发展和繁衍生息的表现就是音乐。并在大量的史料中,为我们了解古代音乐的音乐形式和特点留下宝贵的资料。

As one of the most paramount documents of ancient Chinese musical aesthetics is Sima Qian′s Shih Chi.The Western Han Dynasty was a period of vigorous development of rites and music.Taishigong put music and politics in the″Shih Chi″which demonstrated the fact that society and nature are closely linked.Expressed his own musical emotion.It also shows that the development and reproduction of all things in nature is music.With substantial historical data,the book left us a comprehensive understanding the ancient music form and characteristics of the precious information left.
