智慧校园是校园数字化的高级形态,也是校园信息化建设的必然趋势,将引起高等教育革命性的大变革。智慧校园建设应从管理层观念的转变开始,管理层需要建立大数据思维,向大数据要效率,用数据说话;夯实基础网络和平台,为大数据的流动提供强有力的保障;加强IT人才培养和队伍建设,为不断推进智慧化进程积蓄力量;以大数据为核心,搜索引擎为主要任务,人工智能为根本驱动力,做好网络运维、智能计算以及数据挖掘,加快校园各项事务的数字化转型和智能化处理进程,为高效教学、高性能科研计算、科研潜力挖掘、便携的校园生活提供个性化服务,为科学的管理决策提供强有力的支撑。

As the advanced form of digital campus, smart campus is the inevitable trend of IT application on campus, which will lead to a revolutionary transformation of higher education. This paper contends that smart campus construction shall begin with the transformation of management concept. Personnel at the management level shall adopt the thinking of big data, achieve work efficiency with big data, and make decisions based on big data. A stable and reliable network and platform should be built up to facilitate the smooth flow of big data. IT personnel training and team building should be enhanced to make them become the diggers of the wisdom. With big data as the core, with search engine as the primary mission, and with AI （Artificial Intelligence） as the fundamental driving force, the jobs of network operation and maintenance, intelligent computing, and big data mining should be performed well to accelerate the digital transformation of the campus and intelligent process, to provide personalized services for efficient teaching, high performance scientific computing, scientific research potential mining, and portable campus, and to provide strong support for scientific management and decision - making.
