摘要
内分泌腺性血管内皮生长因子(endocrine gland vascular endothelial growth factor,EG-VEGF)是一种新发现的可以特异性促进产类固醇激素的靶器官(肾上腺、睾丸、卵巢、胎盘等)血管内皮细胞生长的细胞因子,并由此而得名。最初发现它具有收缩胃肠平滑肌促进胃肠动力的作用,因而也叫做前动力蛋白1(prokineticin-1,PROK1)。越来越多的研究证实EG-VEGF/PROK1在人类恶性肿瘤中扮演着非常重要的角色。本文针对EG-VEGF/PROK1在肿瘤中的最新研究进展作一综述,为今后深入研究EG-VEGF/PROK1提供新视角和切入点。
An novel cytokine is discovered and named as endocrine gland vascular endothelial growth factor( EG-VEGF) because of its feature specifically acting on and promoting the growth of vascular endothelial cells from different target tissues( adrenal gland,testis,ovary,placenta,etc.) secreting steroid hormones. Previously found to contract gastrointestinal smooth muscle and promote gastrointestinal motility,it 's also called prokineticin-1( PROK1). Recently,more and more studies have confirmed EG-VEGF/PROK1 plays an indispensable role in human malignant tumors. In this article,the research progress about EG-VEGF/PROK1 in all kinds of tumors will be reviewed,which will provide new perspectives and breakthrough points for the further exploring the role of EG-VEGF/PROK1 in tumors.
