“把关人”理论之于网络视频出版探析

Analysis on Online Video Publishing from the Perspective of the Gatekeeper Theory

网络视频出版作为数字出版的重要组成部分,是互联网时代新兴且发展迅速的一种出版形式。由于目前网络视频出版概念模糊,对其做了初步界定,并以传播学中重要的"把关人"理论为视角,从"把关"现象、"把关人"形象和"把关"过程三个方面对网络视频出版进行了分析,从而总结出网络视频出版中的"把关"存在滞后性、及时性、开放性和趋同性这些不同于传统"把关人"理论的新特点。

As an important part of digital publishing, online video publishing is a new and also rapidly developing publishing form in the internet Age. As a result of the obscure concept of online video publishing, this paper makes a preliminary definition and takes the perspective of the ＂gatekeeper＂theory which is significant in communications. It analyzes online video publishing in three aspects which are the gatekeeping phenomenon, the characters of the gatekeepers and the process of the gatekeeping. Thus, new features of online video publishing which is different from the traditional＂gatekeeper＂theory are summarized, such as hysteresis, timeliness, open-ended and convergence.
