Capital elasticity refers to the expansion capacity or potential of capital which enables capital to function to varying degrees in terms of extension or connotation within a certain range of activities. In his main book on economics, Ou Capital, Marx discussed the issue of capital elasticity from the perspectives of direct production process, circulation process and specific capitalist production process, and analyzed the relationship between capital elasticity and capital accumulation, economic crisis and economic cycle.
