In order to achieve the optimal trade-off between product cost, schedule and performance, an example of B-2 was given to illustrate the method of target cost design and management by applying system engineering, and it＇s relevant workflow, and effective measures to lower cost. Doing the activities of target cost design and management by adopting the ideology of system engineering, could be obtained lower cost relatively under the condition of ensuring the requirements of technology and quality.
