Aesthetic Generation of Heterogeneous Isomorphism:Analysis of Gestalt Aesthetic Psychology for Literature Image of Laura in The Glass Menagerie

学界普遍认为田纳西·威廉斯《玻璃动物园》中的劳拉,是一个脆弱、敏感、逃避现实、整天沉迷于玻璃动物制品的文学人物。文章运用格式塔审美心理学"异质同构"理论,立足剧本文本,通过对劳拉和与之相关的意象事物进行比对分析,揭示了劳拉与她心爱的玻璃动物、热带花卉、留声机旧唱片等意象之间存在异质同构的审美关系,从而从艺术审美的角度重新诠释并丰富了劳拉这一文学形象。

As a character in Tennessee Williams＇s The Glass Menagerie, Laura was widely regarded as a weak, sensitive, evasive image who indulged in her glass menagerie all day. From the viewpoint of heterogeneous isomorphism theory in Gestalt aesthetic psychology, this paper compares Laura with her images in the play, hence finding out that there are relations of heterogeneous isomorphism between her and her loved glass animal, the tropical flowers, and the phonograph. This will refresh Laura as a literature image in art aesthetics.
