Translation promotes cultural development and social progress. As the main body of translation activities, translators have been neglected or even considered as"invisible"for a long time. The"cultural turn"in translation studies has improved the status of translators and opened up academic research on translators' subjectivity in an all-round and multi-level manner. The translators' "noninvisibility"is opposite to the translators' "invisibility",that means, translators' subjective awareness in the process of translation. It permeates the stages of preparation, translation and reflection in translation activities. The translators' "non-invisibility"can be constructed by improving the sensitivity of bilingualism, constructing cultural schema and cognitive model, and enhancing environmental adaptability. This paper analyzes the"translators' non-invisibility"and its self-construction mechanism,in order to promote the further exploration of translator subjectivity study.
