Production of Gray Iron Castings by a Feeder-free V-process

分析了无冒口V法铸造工艺的特点和铸件凝固过程。根据均衡凝固大孔出流理论对现有的铸造工艺进行了分析和改进。采用无冒口V法工艺生产的灰口铸铁件，性能良好，不仅降低了废品率，而且降低了生产成本。

Characteristics of a feeder-free V-process and casting solidification process, improving the original process and solidification process of castings were analyzed. On the basis of the theory of proportional solidification and large orifice discharge. The existing casting process was analyzed and improved. The gray iron castings produced by using the feeder-free V-process exhibited good performance, reducing both rejection rate and production cost.
