The article holds that Xi＇s discussion has touched upon significant theoretical and practical issues in women＇s development in the new era. This discussion that represents the latest ideas of Marxist outlook on women in China has provided thoughtful guidance to women＇s development in China in the new era and is an important part of Xi Jinping thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era.
