Under the background of the continuous contraction of student number, the competition for students is not limited to the quantity level, while the quality of students determines the development trend of higher vocational colleges in the future. This paper deeply analyzes the construction status of student source base. Combining with the positioning of higher vocational college, it proposes to build a diversified recruitment mechanism.
