吸收能力对外商直接投资产出效益的影响研究

Study on Absorptive Capacity and Benefits from FDI of Jiangsu Manufactured Exports

通过收集江苏省制造业出口(MX)数据,验证江苏省对外商直接投资的吸收能力如何影响其产出效益。研究表明:吸收能力(AC)是制造业出口从外商直接投资中获益的必要条件,外商直接投资本身对制造业出口的贡献是有限的;对外商直接投资吸收能力主要归因于科学合理外资政策和高质量的基础设施,两者和外商直接投资相结合提高了出口能力、出口强度和出口质量;人力资本和研发对于获取外商直接投资技术溢出效应提高出口质量贡献更大。

This paper investigates how manufacturing exports （MX） are affected by the AC - FDI interaction. It was found out that AC is a necessary condition for Jiangsu to benefit from FDI in MX, and contributions of FDI alone to MX are limited; Jiangsug strong AC largely comes from well -designed FDI policy and high quality infrastructure, both of which complement with FDI in strengthening export capacity, intensity and quality; human capital and R＆D seems to be mo- helpful for Jiangsu to capture spillovers from FDI to export quality.
