从思想上治党是马克思主义政党的根本要求和基本原则,也是中国共产党自身建设过程中的重要经验之一。习近平高度重视从思想上建党,继承并发展以毛泽东、邓小平、江泽民、胡锦涛为代表的中国共产党人积累起来的宝贵经验。十八大以来,习近平强调要牢牢把握住全体党员及干部思想上的"总开关",继续从坚持马克思主义理论,结合中国具体实情、坚持以党内教育为渠道,筑牢理想信念根基以及紧密结合制度建党,发挥干部示范作用等方面推进思想建设,在新时代的背景之下筑牢全面从严治党的基础。
