Value Goal and Historic Task of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in New Era

对社会主义的价值目标与基本任务进行阐述,认为社会主义不仅以实现每个人的自由全面发展为最高目标,还要以追求效率与平等为具体价值目标。社会主义的价值目标逻辑地决定了社会主义的两大历史任务:一是进一步解放发展生产力,满足人民对日益增长的美好生活需要;二是实现公平正义,促进国内与国际社会的和谐。在中国特色社会主义进入了新时代背景下,习近平总书记对社会主义的价值目标与历史任务赋予了新的思想内涵与时代特色,从而进一步丰富发展了科学社会主义理论。

In this article, we have made an explanation on that value and basic task of socialism, andholds that socialism not only takes the promotion of well-rounded development of the person as the highestgoal, but also takes the pursuit of efficiency and equality as the specific value goal. The value goal andthe nature of socialism require logically two tasks of historic importance of socialism. One is to releaseand develop further the productive forces which can meet the growing needs of our people. Another is topromote social equity and justice of the civil and international community. As socialism with Chinesecharacteristics has entered a new era, Xi jinping gave new era connotation and asked new requirements tothe goal value and historical task of scientific socialism, further developing the theory of scientificsocialism.
