Achievements and prospects of higher education in the past 40 years

改革开放40年我国高等教育取得了巨大的成就:高等教育在学规模世界第一,高等教育质量不断增强,高等教育体制改革卓有成效,高等教育国际化水平持续提升。但是高等教育仍然面临着质量、公平、科研、文化传承、全球治理等方面的问题与挑战。展望未来,我们要继续提高高等教育质量,促进高等教育公平,提高大学治理水平,引领经济发展,承担起文化传承与创新的责任,并且走向世界,积极参与高等教育的国际治理。

Chinese higher education has achieved a great success in scale of development over the past 40 years,recruitment taking the first place worldwide,the quality continuously strengthened,and globalization immensely promoted.However,it is faced with problems and challenges in quality,equality,research,cultural heritage and global governance.Thus,this paper puts forward countermeasures to improve the quality,promote the fairness,cultural heritage and innovation,and actively participate in the global governance of higher education.
