随着我国社会的不断进步,以及科学技术的不断发展,尤其是互联网信息技术的发展,互联网被广泛使用,我国高等院校中网民的数量在持续上涨。因为高校学生具有较强的接受新事物能力,这就导致大部分高校学生都是通过互联网了解外界的信息。但是目前互联网环境较为复杂,网络上的信息具有情绪化和非理性的特点,这种现象就会影响高校网络舆情的发展现状,如果出现热门事件,就会对学生产生较大的影响和波动。
