摘要
美国KIPP(knowledge is power program)的知识就是力量教育项目是以提高学生的学习成绩、发展学生个人技能为培养目标,以对学生的高期待、卓越保证、超长的学习时间、强势的学校管理和绩效为特点,以高素质的教师队伍和充足的资金支持为依托,在美国公立学校普遍教学质量低下、民众对教育逐渐失去信心的大环境中逆势产生的,并迅速发展壮大。借鉴美国KIPP学校的成功经验,可以从学校管理、师资培养等方面对我国的高等教育发展提供借鉴。
The Knowledge is Power Program,commonly known as KIPP. KIPP schools train and develop outstanding educators to lead KIPP schools; it is characterized by high expectations for students,assurance of excellence,long study hours,strong school management and performance; it provides tools,resources and training for excellent teaching and learning. In the context of the general low quality of teaching in American public schools and the gradual loss of public confidence in education,it adversely emerged and grew rapidly. The thesis aims to draw lessons from successful experiences of KIPP school and provide reference for higher education in our country from school management,teacher training and so on.
