受国务院委托，我向全国人大常委会报告关于推动城乡义务教育一体化发展提高农村义务教育水平工作情况，请予审议。推动城乡义务教育一体化发展，提高农村义务教育水平，是以习近平同志为核心的党中央根据新时代我国经济社会主要变化作出的一项重大战略决策部署。
