澳大利亚原住民语言政策的历史与现状

The History and Current Status of Aboriginal Language Policies in Australia

梳理澳大利亚原住民语言政策的发展历程,分析当下澳大利亚原住民语言复兴失败的原因;指出澳大利亚实施的"先同化再复兴"的语言政策不符合语言保护的一般规律。本研究认为,语言政策并非一成不变,要与所处的社会、政治、经济发展水平相适应。鉴于此,中国保护民族语言文化多样性时应密切结合实际,制定符合自身经济社会发展阶段的语言政策和民族政策,同时处理好社会经济发展与语言文化保护的关系,应坚持现阶段中国特色的民族政策和语言政策,科学保护各民族语言文化。

The current study describes the development of aboriginal language policy in Australia and analyzes the reasons of the failure to revive aboriginal language in Australia.It believes that Australian＂assimilation-revival＂policy does not confirm to the general law of language protection and that language policy is not universal but must meet the requirement of social and economic development.Therefore,China should develop her own language policy and ethnic policy based on her own social and economic development.That is to say,China should stick to her current language and ethnic policies with Chinese characteristics and protect ethnic languages and cultures scientifically.
