Like Mao Zedong,as the founding fathers of the People＇s Army,Zhou Enlai made great contributions to the foundation and development of this army. These contributions included realizing the extreme significance of establishing a revolutionary army at an early time,actually launching the political issues in the revolutionary army,conducting the preview of setting up the People＇s Army,pioneering in building up the People＇s Army,playing an important role which could not be substituted by others in the course of the development of the People＇s Army,having a deep thought and enriching as well as developing Sanitization-based military theory in the perspective of Marxism. Concluding research into the great contributions Zhou Enlai made to the establishing and developing course of the People＇s Army has everlasting and insightful significance. These facets contains the goals of strengthening the army,the disciplines of establishing the army and the strategy of governing the army which has been initiated since the 18 th National Congress of the CPC and the 19 th National Congress of the CPC especially.
