With the development of computer-based virtual reality technology, this technology has been ap- plied in the field of nursing education. This paper analyzes the current situation of applying virtual reality technology in the field of nursing education in foreign countries in recent years, discusses its application mode and advantages, and elaborates its enlightenment to Chinese nursing education. It provides reference for the application and development of virtual reality technology in the field of nursing education in order to make the nursing education in China more suitable for the needs of social development.
