城市引领区域文化研究——以近代天津、上海、汉口为例

The Impact of Urbanization on Regional Culture:A Case Study of Modern Tianjing,Shanghai and Hankou

由于城市在地理、生态、经济等方面对所在区域的背负和依托,城市文化不可避免地与区域文化发生同构、认同现象。但至近代,随着中国现代城市化与城市现代化进程的推进,城市逐渐成为独立于乡村存在的异质实体,城市文化也实现了对区域文化的全面超越,显露出自身独特的文化个性,并深刻影响了区域社会风尚,丰富、提升了区域文化的内涵与品位,引领区域文化实现从传统农业文明向现代工业文明的整体转型。

Due to cities＇ bearing and reliance on their residing regions in the geographical,ecological and economic aspects,urban culture inevitably correlates with regional culture in structure and cognition.However,up to the modern times,with the advance of China＇s urbanization and modernization,the city gradually became an heterogeneous entity independent of the countryside.Urban culture with its unique cultural characteristics surpassed the regional culture in all aspects.It influenced the social fashion of the region.It enriched and elevated the contents as well as qualities of regional culture.It lead the overall transformation of regional culture from traditional agricultural civilization to modern industrial civilization.
