This paper introduces the distribution of cypress resources to analyze the reasons for the low quality and low benefit of cypress plantation and to expound several modes of its management and transformation. In addition,it tends to discuss how to mobilize the enthusiasm of forest farmers to participate in it through extensive publicity,earnestly carry out field investigation and do well in operation design,popularize the concept of near-natural forest management. To promote forest land circulation and enhance forest productivity,it tends to increase investment in forest management and broaden the sources of funds and other measures and methods for the management and transformation of cypress plantations.
