: In the hackgrouud of "New Silk Road Economic Belt" and the western development strategy, based on the three stage DEA model to analyze from 2011 to 2014 logistics industry efficiency level in western region, the results show the efficiency of the whole logistics industry level in the western region is not high, the efficiency of input and output value and there is a certain gap between the frontier still, with larger rise space. The specific performances demonstrate : 1) In the first stage comprehensive efficiency of logistics industry in the western region is overestimated because of external factors and random factors; 2) to analyze the lack of redundancy and output and input of variable relaxation in this situation, then show too much investments and logistics resources are wasted and should use logistics resources reasonably and according the logistics area plan to reduce waste of resources; 3) there is spatial linkage logistics industry in the western region, with regional logistics and collaborative management, so as to promote the balanced space effect of the coordinated development of economy.
