摘要
在近代的社会工作教育议题上,鲜有学者关心到社会工作研究如何落实在基础社会工作训练及社工专业发展上。研究科目不受重视,更形成重实务轻研究的风气,将实务与研究割裂,陡实务流于经验化,实务一研究二元割裂,窒碍理论的验证、修订及知识的长远增益。本文尝试解构社工研究的论述,追溯传统教育重理轻文的研究资源分配制度,国际学术期刊的主流评审标准,中学学科性别化,生源数理基础薄弱等结构性问题,并提出重新归回社会工作信念,以尊重多元,兼容批判、反省的研究态度及方法来丰富社会工作研究的内涵。
To most social work students and practitioners, social work research is a difficult subject which graduates had little memory. The use of social work research remains almost an exclusive, if not secretive expertise of the university professors. The fragmented concern of research and practice has shifted more attention to the latter than the former, making knowledge building a sluggish process. This paper tries to deconstruct the discourse of social work research, and ascribe the current discourse to some of the structural factors such as the allocation of research resources, preference of academic journals, gender selection in secondary school education, and the weak numerical background knowledge of social workers. It is suggested that, apart from the enhancement of basic numeric skills, what is more important is a quest for better integration between research and practice, and a back-to-basic social work beliefs alternative, critical, reflective and in the respect for diversities, to promote better grounded research knowledge.
