藏传佛教的理论与研究方法——访著名藏学家班班多杰教授

On the Theoretical Realm and Research Methods of the Tibetan Buddhism——An interview of Professor Banban Dorje, a famous Tibetologist

班班多杰先生是著名的藏学家,1952年生于青海省湟中县,曾任中央民族学院藏学系主任、藏学研究院院长等职,现任中央民族大学哲学与宗教学学院教授、博士生导师。班班多杰先生一生致力于藏传佛教研究工作,为后人留下了丰硕的研究成果。他的第一部著作《藏传佛教思想史纲》于1992年出版后,在学术界引起了很大的反响。文章以班班多杰先生的学术生涯为脉络,围绕藏传佛教理论与研究方法,佛教在汉藏两地的本土化过程及结果、藏传佛教与藏族文化的关系、宗派对话及"宗派无偏向运动"的学理根据、佛教本土化问题的东西方诠释学以及藏传佛教思想史资料整理、翻译的学术价值等方面,对班班多杰先生进行了采访。

Mr. Banban Dorje, a famous Tibetologist, was born in Huangzhong County of Qinghai Province in 1952, and once served in Minzu University of China as the dean of the Tibetology Department, and the director of Tibetology Research Institute of, and currently works as a professor and doctoral supervisor of Philosophy and Religion Department. He has his life dedicated to the research of the Tibetan Buddhism, and has made splendid research achievements. Based on the course of Mr. Banban Dorje’s academic research, the article presents the research methods and theoretical realm in his research of the Tibetan Buddhism. The topics involved in the interview are： the process and achievements of the Buddhism localization in the Han and Tibetan regions, the relationship between Tibetan Buddhism and Tibetan culture, the theoretical basis of sectarian interaction and “non-biased sectarian movement＂, the eastern and western hermeneutics of Buddhism localization, and the academic value of the historical data collation and translation of the Tibetan Buddhist thoughts.
