The following thesis generalizes the evolutional course of the cooperation between Shenzhen and Hong Kong, and then makes an overall assessment of it from both Chinese reform and opening aspect and East Asia Mode aspect. Finally it points out that the cooperation between Shenzhen and Hong Kong is both an epitome and a sucoess of Chinese reform and opening, with its industrial diversion and institutional innovation embodying not only East Asian devdopment characteristic but also an innovation of the East Asia mode, a new mirade of the East Asia progress.
