摘要
车牌定位是车牌识别的关键环节之一。针对单一的车牌定位方法的不足,提出一种数学形态学与颜色信息相结合的车牌定位新方法。首先对车牌图像进行预处理;然后进行边缘检测,运用数学形态学方法获得车牌候选区域,利用车牌的颜色信息得到车牌位置区域;最后将车牌候选区域与车牌位置区域进行交运算得到车牌精确位置,利用精确位置提取准确的车牌区域。实验结果表明,该方法定位精度高,速度快,鲁棒性较好。
License plate location is one of the key links in license plate lrecognition. Aiming at the shortcoming of single license plate location method, a new license plate location method combining mathematical morphology and color inforeanation is proposed in this article. Firstly, the license plate image is preprocessed, then edge detection is carried out and the license plate candidate region is obtained by mathematical morphology, and the license plate location alrea is obtained by using the color infomlation date region and the license plate location area are transferewed of the license plate. Finally, the license plate candi- tracted by using the exact position. Experimental result shows good robustness to obtain the exact license plate location which is exthat this method has high accuracy, high speed and good robustness.
