Foamed lightweight soil is a new type of lightweight material which is widely used at the present stage. This paperintroduces the application of foamed light soil in road expansion, soft soil subgrade and roadbed filling behind abutment. By comparing with the traditional treatment scheme, the advantages of technology and economy are pointed out, and the construction quality iseasy to control.
