Evaluation of China's Innovation Capability from "Global Innovation Index 2018"

由世界知识产权组织、美国康奈尔大学、欧洲工商管理学院联合发布的《全球创新指数》是评价经济体创新能力的主要国际报告之一。基于最新发布的2018年度报告,本文对报告的主要结论、指标体系特征进行了分析,研究了报告所反映出的中国创新优势与不足,对下一步中国提升创新能力的重点方面提出了建议。

The Global Innovation Index, jointly published by the World Intellectual Property Organization, Cornell University, and the European Business School, is one of the major international reports evaluating the innovation capability of the economy. Based on the latest 2018 annual report, this paper analyzes the main conclusions of the report and the characteristics of the indicator system, and studies the advantages and disadvantages of China＇s innovation reflected in the report, and puts forward suggestions on the key points of China＇s next step to enhance its innovation capability.
