Objective To investigate the effect of nursing intervention on paclitaxel-induced arthralgia. Methods A total of 50 patients with arthralgia caused by paclitaxel in the oncology department of the hospital from June to December 2017 were convenient selected and enrolled. The patients were randomly divided into observation group (25 cases) and control group (25 cases). The observation group received routine care, and the control group received targeted care. The patients" anxiety self-rating scale (SAS) score, depression self-rating scale (SDS) score, visual analog pain (VAS) score, and nursing satisfaction degree score were compared between the two groups. Results Through targeted nursing, the SAS score (36.58± 7.23)points, SDS score (36.52±5.23)points, VAS score (2.45±1.01)points and nursing satisfaction score (90.24±6.65)points were better than those of the control group. The scores were (56.75±7.01)points, SDS scores (56.72±6.01)points, VAS scores (4.52±1.52)points, and nursing satisfaction scores (82.23±6.92)points. The difference was statistically significant (t=16.521, t=15.278, t=1.152, t=5.231, P〈0.05). Conclusion Through targeted nursing intervention, it can significantly relieve the pain level of patients and reduce the anxiety and depression of patients, and improve the satisfaction of patients" care.
