中美文学的诺贝尔之旅——莫言与福克纳的对比研究

莫言,中国20世纪80年代的伟大作家,2012年诺贝尔文学奖的获得者与美国1949年诺贝尔文学奖获得者福克纳在小说的创作手法上有惊人的相似之处。二者将他们小说中的神秘事件都置于他们自己创造的以他们家乡为背景的"高密东北乡"和"约克纳帕塔法县"。并且他们在小说中都运用了意识流等写作手法。但并非是莫言效仿福克纳,换句话说,是莫言深受福克纳的影响并得到了启示,将西方意识流手法进行改革和创作运用到他的作品中。但相比二者的意识流手法,莫言意识流手法的运用更加天马行空,更加大胆和具有创新性。但二者也在现代主义和后现代主义方面产生了分歧,福克纳是现代主义的大家,而莫言则是后现代主义的领军人物。

Mo Yan is the greatest Chinese writer in 1980s and the winner of the Nobel Prize in literature in 2012.His writing techniques are deeply similar to Faulkner's,the American winner of the Nobel Prize in literature in 1954.They put their magical stories in the magical counties,Yoknapatawpha County and Gaomi County.They are built on the basis of their hometowns.They are both applying the stream of consciousness.But Mo Yan doesn't imitate Faulkner.In other words,he is influenced by him and learns many techniques from him.He also transforms and innovates the stream of consciousness.But in comparison between them,Mo Yan has much more innovations.There also exists a difference between them.Faulkner is the greatest modernist writer,and Mo Yan is the greatest post-modernist writer.
