CBI教学模式下的军事英语教学改革

Teaching Reform of Military English in CBI Mode

军事英语不同于地方院校,有其特殊性。随着我军的不断成熟和开放,与世界各国的军事交往日益密切。为了促进国防和军队现代化建设,外事活动亦不断增多,诸如参加联合军演、参与维和行动,军事互访等等。中国军事变革脚步的加快使得我军对军事外语人才的需求也越来越迫切了。而对军事外语人才的需求也加快了军事英语教学改革的步伐。本文探讨如何在以学科内容为依托的CBI语言教学模式下进行军事英语教学改革,进而提高军校学员英语能力,为部队培养培养合格的军事外语人才。

Military English is different from other col ege English because it is special. As our army is becoming mature and open, it has established close contact with other countries. In order to promote the modernization of national defense and army,it wil have increased foreign affairs activities, such as joint military maneuverer, peace keeping operation and military visit, etc. The accelerating military reform requires more and more foreign language talents in military English. And in turn requirement for more and more language talent in military English hastens military reform. This paper discuses how to conduct military reform in CBI mode, how to improve cadets’ English ability and how to train qualified foreign language talents in military English for our Army.
