体育新闻英语作为新闻英语中的一种特殊文体,有着自身特有的文体特征。本文从字系特点、词汇特点、语法特点、修辞法的应用这四个方面出发,引用实例来分析其文体特征,以提高我们阅读体育英语新闻的能力,从而更好地了解国际体育发展动态。

As a specific style of newswriting, English sports news has its unique stylistic features. The present study is an attempt to analyze the stylistic features of sports news reporting by means of lots of concrete examples. The analysis is on graphological, lexical, syntactic and rhetorical levels. It is expected that this kind of study can help us to improve the reading comprehension of English sports news and promote the understanding of the development of international sports.
