从经典电影《The Titanic》谈英语教学

摘要 新课改对高中英语的教学模式、教学内容和教学方法等都提出了更高的要求,以求达到提高学生英语听、说、读、写的综合能力,然而由于受应试教育的影响,在教学过程中经常会导致学生的积极性普遍不高,学生经常是被动学习,很难将英语作为一门沟通、学习、交流的工具。而在教学过程中,为学生引入较为经典的英语原声电影,由影片中的情景继而引申到单词、语法等专业知识上来,将枯燥乏味的教与学的方式,变为具有目的与兴趣的主动接受的方式进行学习,不仅可以调动学生学习英语的积极性,全面提高学生对英语的听、说、读、写能力,同时也可以影响同学们的人生观、世界观、价值观,达到教书育人,培养人才的目的。 In order to improve the comprehensive ability of listening, speaking, reading and writing, the New Curriculum Reform has proposed a higher demand to high school English teaching patterns, teaching contents and teaching methods. Yet because of the exam-oriented education, students' enthusiasm is always low when learning. It was different to treat English as a tool of communicating for the students who are usually passive learners. However, we can bring in classic and genuine English movies and use the scene to extend the usage of words, grammar and so on. in teaching procedure.Thus we transfer the boring teaching and learning method to positive acceptance to learn with goal and interest,which could not only arouse the enthusiasm of the students,but also improves the entire ability of listening, speaking,reading and writing. At the same time,it can also affect students' outlook on life, world view and sense of worth; furthermore, it can also achieve the aim of imparting knowledge and educating people and training man for profession.
