继互联网产业的标志性地域"硅谷"之后,"硅巷"这一隐藏在纽约曼哈顿下城区老宅中的高科技企业群,业已成为纽约市经济的主要增长引擎。本文通过对"硅巷"这一高科技枢纽的快速增长过程进行梳理,对其成功处于科技浪潮统治地位以及纽约老城区成长为新科技之都的原因进行分析,总结与思考了科技创新能够在城市成功发展的必备因素,以期对科技回归都市这一必然发展趋势提供借鉴,有所助益。

Silicon Lane＂,a cluster of enterprises hidden in Lower Manhattan of New York,has been a main engine driving the urban economy after the iconic region of the internet industry＂Silicon Valley＂.This paper analyzes this rapidly growing high-tech hub of＂Silicon Lane＂,and tries to figure out why it can become the new Tech Center of New York as well as successfully occupy the dominant position in the technology wave.The necessary elements for technological innovation successfully developing in urban areas are summarized here,which is expected to provide reference for the inevitable trend of science and technology returning to the city.
