Based on the smart home, the paper expounds the role of the Internet of Things, analyzes the structure ofthe Internet of Things and the various subsystems and functions of the smart home. Based on the different aspects ofthe Internet of Things architecture, the application of the Internet of Things technology in smart home is studied.
